Mexico eyes stronger trade with Việt Nam

At a seminar, themed Mexico Eyes Stronger Trade With Việt Nam“Doing Business in Việt Nam” on April 22 in the Mexican state of Chiapas, local authorities and nearly 100 firms delivered their wishes to boost trade ties with Vietnamese partners, especially in agriculture.

They expressed keen interests in the fields of coffee production and processing, aquaculture and tropical fruits and flower export.

Vietnamese Ambassador to Mexico Lê Thanh Tùng affirmed that Việt Nam always creates favorable conditions for Mexican enterprises to invest and do business in the country.

Việt Nam is willing to act as an entrance for Mexican firms to penetrate into Southeast Asia with some 590 million consumers, the Ambassador said, adding that two-way trade between Việt Nam and Mexico was over US $1 billion last year.
